At Cayo Loco, we offer customizable wedding packages to suit every couple’s dream.

Below are our basic beach wedding ceremonies but you can add whatever adventure excursions you would like: SCUBA, snorkeling, fishing trip, massages on your deck, ‘castaway’ on a private sandbar, swimming with the pigs, sailing, surfing, biking, floating the Current Cut, yoga with Monique, cliff diving, blue holes, anything you can think of on the water!

You can also add superb food, live music and a private bartender to your wedding event as well! Excursions and add ons are priced separately!

*There is a $100 Cleaning Fee plus a $500 Refundable Damage Deposit added to the basic wedding cost. The bride and groom must pay the marriage license fee of $250 in person upon application.

More than 2 guests plus the Marriage Officiant and Wedding Coordinator requires booking additional houses on the property depending on how many visitors. All visitors are to be pre-registered. We are a tiny wedding venue offering an intimate experience for our wedding couple.

Marriage Requirements in
the Bahamas

Getting married in The Bahamas is a straightforward process, and our team is here to assist you every step of the way.

Key requirements

  • Both parties must be in The Bahamas at the time of application.
  • Valid passports and birth certificates.
  • If previously married, divorce decree or death certificate of former spouse.
  • Completed marriage license application.
  • $250 USD fee for the marriage license.

How we help

  • Our wedding coordinator will guide you through the paperwork process.
  • We can arrange transportation to and from the Registrar General’s office in Governor’s Harbour.
  • Our on-site Marriage Officiant, is fully licensed to perform legal ceremonies in The Bahamas.

For wedding couples having professional attendees such as videographers, photographers, hairdressers, makeup artists, musicians, etc. the entire property requires to be booked. If the wedding consists of only the wedding couple and our Marriage Officiant then one house is sufficient.

Processing time is typically 1-2 business days. To complete this process stress-free, we recommend arriving at least 3 days before your intended wedding date.

Yes, two foreigners can absolutely get married in The Bahamas!

Minimum 2 business days. Couples must be on the islands for at least 24 hours before applying for a marriage license, which needs to be obtained at least one day before the wedding.

Required documents include birth certificates and a notarized affidavit. Additional documents, such as divorce papers, a former spouse’s death certificate, or parental consent (if under 18), may be necessary depending on your circumstances.
